Hi, I’m Dr. Lauren Lawson — Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Nonprofit Founder, and your guide in building a practice that actually serves both your community and your career.
I started my own nonprofit over a decade ago with a mission to fill the gaps I saw in both private practice and community mental health. I knew there had to be a better way — one that allowed therapists to serve underserved populations without burning out or compromising financial stability.
But I’ll be honest: I DIYed everything at first. I spent years piecing it together — learning the hard way how to form a board, secure funding, navigate the 501(c)(3) maze, and build a team of mission-driven clinicians.
